It would seem that my cold/flu/death disease is holding on for dear life and filling my throat with useless crap. That aside, I’m doing pretty well.
I saw a really hot chick on the way to school this morning, and I was seriously shocked! She was a brunette, which is weird for me to like, but whatever. She had this perfect shape, all curvy and I’m guessing with an amazing stomach, as well as gorgeous catlike green eyes. I actually just realized that the stripper I have a sparkling memory of had really dark hair (absolutely gorgeous btw, I was jealous). I guess I’m not completely radar-less anymore
(Olivia Wilde still makes me melt) which makes me happy. I like my “girl-dar”.
I guess my topic today is girls and gossip. What’s the point of it? Are women so sad about their lives that they feel the need to stick their noses in everywhere? There are a number of women who don’t gossip, but let’s face it, if guys did the same thing (which some do) it’s called slander, and is a punishable offence. Saying that so-and-so is on diet pills because their husband won’t look at them anymore, or so-and-so slept around can cause huge problems, and a lot of the time these things aren’t true (the sleeping around….maybe, but it’s still their business only…..and possibly the partner of the person they were with). Why go around lying? You lose friends, look like an idiot, and don’t really accomplish anything but looking like a fake tramp who has nothing better to do than nit-pick. Congratulations, you’re an idiot.
In other news, I miss Rich, but that’s to be expected. What I really miss is our drives. It seems like our relationship has always been added to with drives; drives to and from the bus station, to Ontario from NB, just for fun, coffee drives, recce drives, illegal drives, any type. I like the arrangement. I sit and talk, he drives, and he tells me when to be quiet (ie: he needs to focus
). I’m kind of scared of when I start driving…but at least he has an automatic. I probably would be mortified with a standard, but whatever. I’m also a bit scared, because I’ve noticed from an observer’s point of view that women really do get in more accidents, are inconsiderate, and are more likely to cut you off because making it to the PTA meeting is more important than road safety. While I like to think of myself as level-headed, I’m also female. Sigh.
